Tehran

Tradition meets modern life in this metropolis. Conservative women wearing full-length veils mingle with younger women in form-fitting coats. Go to the Golestan Palace registered in the World Heritage in the center of Tehran. 18th century This complex was the main residence of the Qajar period, a masterpiece of hand-painted tiles, in a lush garden. After a walk in the city park, reach the National Museum of Iran, which houses works of ancient works and contemporary history of Iran.

Take the morning to Dizin Ski Resort, Iran’s largest and only winter sports resort recognized by the International Ski Federation. The Dizin range is known for being operational in winter and spring, with excellent snow quality and excellent slopes for skiing and snowboarding. Spend the day making friends with local skiers, hitting the slopes and discovering new trails. At night, relax at Dizin Tourist Hotel and eat local stews such as ash and jo soup.

Skiers are a friendly bunch, especially Iranian skiers, so make plans with them. After a hearty breakfast, try to see if you can join a local party. Depending on the weather, you can choose to stay in Dizin or explore some of the nearby slopes and resorts. Spend the rest of the day snowshoeing and experiencing the adrenaline rush of skiing above 3000m. At night, relax at Dizin Tourist Hotel and exchange stories with your new friends.

Abyaneh of Isfahan

In the morning, stop at Abyaneh village. This village, characterized by its reddish color, is one of the oldest villages in Iran. Its inhabitants, located among the inaccessible mountain folds, were safe from the Arab invaders. They still speak Middle Persian, the language of the 5th century. Sassanid Iran at night, visit the Khajo Bridge and the Si-se bridge of Isfahan, local hangouts by the side of Zayandeh River. End the evening with an Iranian cooking class and cook dinner with a local host family.

Esfahan

After a night’s sleep, visit the 16th century. Naqsh Jahan Square, the headquarters of the Safavid dynasty of Iran. Square was and is the center of business and activity in Isfahan. One of its biggest features is the Qaysiriyah Bazaar, a local center full of handicrafts, spices and carpets. Visit the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque for its mesmerizing dome, the Shah Mosque for its enchanting courtyard, and the majestic six-story palace. End the day with the amazing pavilion of the Forty Column Palace.

Isfahan Varzaneh

In the morning, visit the brilliant frescoes of the Vank Church in the Armenian neighborhood of Jolfai No in the southwest of Isfahan. In the afternoon, drive to the desert city of Varzaneh and experience the towering sand dunes of the Varzaneh desert and the vast and mesmerizing Salt Lake of Varzaneh. Visit Hassan Abad Water Temple to see how ancient people conserved their sacred resources. After watching the sun set over the sands, make your way to a traditional local guesthouse for the night.

Start with Agha Bozor Mosque, a multi-level seminary that was the center of Kashani life. Visit Sultan Amir Ahmed Hammam for classical bath training. Visit the luxurious Abbasid House and the Tabatabai House, two examples of classic houses with exceptional architectural details designed specifically for the desert. Visit an active pottery workshop to see Kashan’s traditional pottery crafts. Spend the night in Kashan.
